Wave hanger

I don’t know, maybe it is the summer, but waves, you think about them. I never think about waves and hangers though in the same thought. This wave (or comb?) inspired hangar is cool and functional at the same time. Clearly not a thing that would go unnoticed in your hallway. They recommend creating shadows by using lighting for more effect but I don’t think it needs more effect, it is cool enough already. We love it.

Charmed circle side table

I guess the 50s and the 60s are back again since there are so many products that inspired by things that were done back then. They claim that this table is inspired by designs from the 1960s; I think it may well have been designed today. Anyway, I love the finish, the contrasting color and just the overall look of the table. I don’t agree with Nick on the Domino blog that this table is very expensive. It is not cheap, but then again you don’t buy side tables everyday.

Look for Less: The BigMod Sputnik lamp

If you need to bring some light to your adobe, this chandelier would do that and more. They say that its inspired by the 1950’s sputnik lamp and that is fine. What is even better is that they have managed to make it really cool with the (optional) half chrome bulbs. It just doesn’t look the same with normal bulb so recommend you buy it as shown.

We seem to have found a lot of cool deals on Overstock.com. We like these trek inspired shoes from Pony. If you’re looking for something comfortable, this should do the trick. They say that the shoe provides grip on a variety of surfaces but even if it does not convert you into a spider woman, we suspect that this lightweight, well fitting “zapato” will keep you moving happily along for a while.
