I am a sucker for Christmas card and while is a bit (too) early, I though that I might highlight Annie & Catherine’s stationary collection. Aside from other cool stuff on their on-line shop, I really like this happy looking Christmas card. Hey, get a leg up on the holiday season and grab a few. Best of all, its printed on recycled paper.

Now this one cool PC. For the tech details and fuller scoop on this, check out Engadget.com. What I really like about this is that the design is based not only on industrial design or color, but a strong graphic treatment. Actually the covers are interchangeable. The other complication; you have to head out to Europe to snag one. I am sure you can find someone who speaks Icelandic!

These are handcrafted by Polish artisans. The classic shape is hard to go wrong with and the individual differences that are normally found only in handcrafted pieces like these, make the hurricanes special. Can’t go wrong with the price either.

Check out these ‘Seam’ vases from Denmark’s Anne Black. Simple and elegant, the under-toned design would really make the flowers stand out. The uneven edges contrast happily with the geometric patterns on the vase. Beautiful.

What’s better than a pull along toy? A pull along toy with a bobbing head. These things are always a hit with the toddlers and if you have one (or more) in your life, this sure will make them happy. While it is certainly not the cheapest such toy you will find, we don’t really go for the cheap now, do we? It is cool and unusual; I mean just look at it!

This is one of those things that just make you smile and perhaps feel a bit warm and fuzzy. Ok, I have never seen a cuter salt and pepper shaker. Made of porcelain, this is one hugely cute couple.

This is one unusual carafe. Again, what I like is when people go beyond the conventional form. This is certainly unusual. While, obviously, not for everyone or every table, I do see it fit occasions like a quiet summer’s night dinner outside in the garden. Hey, even comes with two cups so you will have to carry less.

It is a unfortunate fact of life for us that we travel a lot. And when you do, in today’s day and age, trust me; you need stuff that can withstand the rigors. These bags will and will also stand the abuse since they are made of nylon. The Parisian wallpaper inspired design will be sure to make a statement. The bags are available in Vanity and Travel sizes. Check out these glass infused bowls by the artist Steve Ramsey. If you are tired of the usual bowl forms, this is for you. I just like for being so unusual, appearing almost geological in appearance as if someone dug it up. You can find this at Savannah College of Art and Design’s web site.
